Steps
- Touch and hold an empty spot on the Home Screen until the icons start to jiggle.
- Tap the button for adding a widget at the top of the screen: depending on the iOS version it is a “+” or an “Edit” button with an option to add one.
- Find NewLexi in the widget gallery - in the list or through its search.
- Swipe through the sizes, pick the one you need and tap “Add Widget”.
- Drag the widget where you want it and finish editing the screen.
Which widgets there are
- “Streak” - a small square with the counter of days in a row.
- “Word of the day” - a small square with the daily word and its translation.
- “Word + streak” - a medium rectangle with the daily word and the counter side by side.
The widget updates on its own: the word of the day changes a few times a day, the counter after a session. You do not need to open the app for that.
If NewLexi is not in the gallery
Open the app at least once after installing or updating it: iOS only offers widgets from apps that have already been launched. If it still is not there, restart your iPhone.
