Add the widget to your Lock Screen

Three new words are visible before you even unlock. Setup takes a minute and happens in iOS, not in the app.

Steps

  1. Touch and hold the Lock Screen until the «Customize» button appears.
  2. Tap «Customize».
  3. Tap the area under the clock and find NewLexi in the list.
  4. Pick the inline widget with the word or the circular one with your streak.
  5. Tap «Done» - the widget updates on its own, you don’t need to open the app.
Lock Screen widgets in iOS are always monochrome - that’s a system limit, not ours.

If NewLexi isn’t in the list

Open the app at least once after updating and check that «Word of the Day» is on in settings. The widget will then show up in the iOS gallery.
